Who we are

Libyan Wave operates this website and is the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at antony33w@yahoo.com or +30 694 818 8473, or by post at Gialiskari Beach Paleochora, Greece 73001.

What we collect

When you submit the contact form we collect the name, email address, phone number and message you enter, together with your confirmation that you agree to be contacted.

We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect payment details on this website. Bookings are handled on our separate booking system at https://bookings.libyanwave.gr, which has its own privacy terms.

How we use it

We use the details from the contact form solely to answer your enquiry and to send you a confirmation that we received it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

Our legal basis is your consent when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services.

Cookies

Necessary cookies keep the site secure and working, and are always on. Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them in the cookie banner.

You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer.

Services we rely on

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address in order to serve pages and protect the site from abuse. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile and delivered by email through Resend.

The sea-conditions card loads live data from Open-Meteo, and the map is provided by Google Maps. Both receive your IP address as a normal part of loading their content.

Each of these providers processes data on our behalf or under its own terms, and we share no more than what the service needs to work.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your request and for our own records, and are deleted once they are no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent you have given. Write to antony33w@yahoo.com and we will respond within one month.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and the date shown above.
