A natural cove beach near Paleochora
Gialiskari is a run of small coves of tiny, smooth pebbles where the hills of southwest Crete meet the Libyan Sea. Junipers and cedars line the shore, and cool fresh water runs into the sea beneath the pebbles, keeping the shallows clear and refreshing. The water is turquoise — calm near the shore, deeper over the reefs and small islets just offshore.
It's a quieter, more natural alternative to Paleochora's main town beach: unspoiled, rarely crowded, and a good spot to watch the sunset over the sea. It's also our base — where every jet ski, paddleboard, kayak and boat trip starts and ends.

How to find us
Gialiskari beach sits a few kilometres east of Paleochora, in the far southwest of Crete. Hop on our shuttle, drive the coast road, or take the scenic seaside footpath from town.
